This week Made in Yorkshire hosted their Summer drinks event at Banyan, Leeds, for a collective celebration of Yorkshire manufacturing and the achievements of those in the group in the first half 2018.

Over 60 representatives of the sector came together for a relaxed evening to make new contacts, discuss future business opportunities and see how they can support each other.

Made in Yorkshire Events and Engagement Manager, Eleanor Boyle said: “It was amazing to see our members come together for this event. There was a real buzz in the air as everybody celebrated a great first half of the year. Many new connections were made by all and even a few business deals created.”

The President of Made in Yorkshire and Managing Director of Rosti Automotive, John Pendleton delivered a brilliant speech that showed the transformation Made in Yorkshire has made in the last year, how proud we should all be of what has been created and how exciting the future looks for the network.

The event was full of a variety of members and the diversity of Yorkshire Manufacturing was incredibly apparent.

Throughout the evening the team were frequently told how nice the people in attendance were and that it was how refreshing it was to be around people with a genuine interest in learning about what other businesses do.

Made in Yorkshire have confirmed future breakfast events at ActionPlas, OE Electrics, Quickslide, Cirteq and MA Ford. If you are interested in attending our future events, you can find out more here -  https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/o/made-in-yorkshire-8464040428

Made in Yorkshire CEO, Jason Pitt concluded: “Its always brilliant hosting the Made in Yorkshire Drinks events. Sometimes manufacturers don’t really get a chance to get away from their factories and acknowledge the great work they have been doing. We’re certain these events will only grow in future and we will continue to toast our members brilliant achievements.”
