Made in Yorkshire is looking for our final Regional Membership Manager

Made in Yorkshire is a highly successful, fast-growing sector-specific membership organisation; with an ambitious growth plan, we place excellence at the heart of all we do.

We are now looking for a high achieving Regional Membership Manager to join our small enthusiastic team, to drive new business through selling memberships and to help us continue to build Made in Yorkshire events through quality and value for our members.

Identifying and attending relevant events is another essential part so the role is a mixture of office and field based work. You will help us build our membership, so we need you to have a special set of skills including:

  • A great track record in sales - a target achiever, able to analyse sales and create sales reports

  • Investigative nature - Finding PR and news opportunities for our members

  • High level of initiative, enthusiasm and determination to be the best at what you do

  • You enjoy developing networks, meeting new people and building strong relationships. A good Yorkshire network will be helpful for this role or the ability to prove that you can build strong multi sector relationships and bring them into our events

  • We can depend on you to do what you say you will do and see things through

  • Team spirit – you are co-operative and bring a good sense of humour to help lift the team when the pressure is on for us all

  • Working within budgets

  • Achieving targets

Having your own transport and Driving Licence (preferably clean) is absolutely essential. This is a full time role - the hours can be varied. Face to face meetings with prospects and representing us at our events being a key part of the role.

Previous minimum of 12 months sales experience is essential for this role as well as driving licence and a car as you will be expected to visit clients and prospects for meetings.

We offer a basic salary up to £25k depending on experience and £50k OTE with uncapped commission package.

Our office is based in Leeds City Centre - Round Foundry Media Centre.
